Introducing Cressana, LLC

Cressana, LLC was started by Katie LaCelle to facilitate her deep passion for lifelong learning, seeking, and supporting businesses and individuals as they grow.

The word Cressana was derived from the words “crescendo” and “sana”. Crescendo is a musical term that means to increase in loudness or intensity. Sana is a Latin word, meaning, to heal. The goal of Cressana is to intensify the ability of individuals and organizations to heal and improve themselves. The word Cressana also reminded Katie of watercress, which has historically held a symbolic meaning of serving mankind as part of a medicinal family of plants. This links up well with Katie’s belief in servant leadership – the concept that posits that leaders only exist to serve the people they lead, as opposed to the other way around.

While Katie has been incubating this business for at least a decade, the COVID-19 pandemic was a key catalyst for change. In May 2020, left with more time in her schedule than she usually had, Katie began pursuing her master’s degree from Gonzaga University in Organizational Leadership. In May 2021, Katie elected to step off the path she had been following for her entire career by leaving her full time position as an executive director and converting to hourly support. With that space, after years of being inspired by the entrepreneurs around her, Cressana was born.

Cressana offers services to businesses and individuals. For businesses, we provide one on one leadership and executive coaching, design and development of leadership programs, tactical and strategic planning, transition planning, and communications.
