About the Course

Self-care is something we hear a lot about. We start by breaking down what self-care is (and what it isn’t!) and explore how your nervous system influences the strategies that will work best for you. Finally, we clarify why the state of your nervous system really matters at work.

We might acknowledge self-care is important, but actually making time for it in a busy schedule? That’s another challenge. In this module, I’ll introduce the impacts of chronic dysregulation and help you uncover your “why” for deeper prioritization of self-care.

Next, we’ll reflect on why we might have deprioritized our self-care in the past. We’ll do this through an IFS lens. In this module, you’ll learn the basics of IFS and begin to identify and work with what comes up when you think about dedicating time and energy to self-care.

Let’s brainstorm ideas and structure a self-care plan tailored to your system. You’ll find this module packed with techniques and grounding exercises that keep you aligned with your needs as you work towards your self-care goals.

With a deeper understanding of what self-care works for you, we’ll start practicing. You’ll create your own mini database of strategies that work for your system, expand your window of tolerance, and establish boundaries that help you protect your efforts.

Throughout the program, you will encounter your beliefs and challenges around self-care. Depending on what you find, you may want additional support to work through this. Once you have completed the program, you’re invited to book a 1:1 leadership session at a reduced rate. This is a great opportunity to ask questions, deepen your learning, get customized suggestions, and put what you’ve learned into action.

Hi, I’m Katie LaCelle
Leadership Coach & IFS Practitioner
I work with all the high achievers, people pleasers, and caretakers who are feeling ready for a change, but don't know how to get there.
For me, burnout is personal. Not so long ago, I was climbing my way up at a financial consulting firm when chronic back pain, migraines, and insomnia left me unable to work most days. I no longer had a choice about prioritizing my self-care, and it took me years to restore health.
These days, work looks a lot different. I have since completed a masters degree in organizational leadership, IFS training, a certification in traumatic stress studies, and an ongoing training in Somatic Experiencing. I integrate all of these experiences to help professionals nearing burnout attune to their bodies.
